WORKSHOPS OVERVIEW
I run a variety of courses throughout the year which are held in a number of venues. They cover a wide variety of different skills & facets of willow weaving. They include traditional basketry skills & sculptural work. All are aimed at those with no or limited willow weaving experience.

Group BookingsPhotos are from bee skeps day at. Edibles with

Summer SchoolsPhotos are from the Willow for the Garden Summer School at Westhope College at Craven Arms. A three days intensive course learning & using a mixture of traditional weaves for functional items (trellis, planters, obelisks, seats, baskets &bee skeps) and a more contemporary approach to garden sculpture (spheres, pods, angels, wall sculpture & contemporary baskets) . An incredibly productive course with most particiants producing 4 or more items over the 3 days.

Vera the pit ponyVera was made by myself and the ladies of Worsbrough Flower Club for their flower festival at Silkstone Curch in 2010.
She now resides in my bedroom but is partial to public appearances every now and again! She often 'tours' Sheffield Industrial Museum events |
Mary, Joseph & Doris the Donkey!Mary, Joseph & Doris were made by Steel Valley Beacon Arts and Stocksbridge folk.
For the past 2 years they have graced the side of the Town Hall at Christmas time. Made over 6, 1 day workshops in the summer of 2009. |
